Cafés Christina

The CHRISTINA brand emerged from a true love story. In 1813 the merchant José Iria Carvalhal, in honor of his wife, gave the name of Casa Christina to his chocolate and coffee business. In 1987 it was acquired by the Nestlé group, and today it is already considered a passion that has lasted for more than 200 years, maintaining the objective of its founder: “to produce better and better”. Almost a small museum of the history of coffee in Portugal, Casa Christina, the tradition of good coffee in the North and, in particular, in Porto, is the testimony and confirmation that respect for urban and industrial heritage is compatible with the most high standards of quality and taste.
