The “Herdade do Rocim” Clay Aged is a genuine wine, produced from the passion of generations who have always had the greatest respect and tenderness for the land. It is produced from Alicante Bouschet, Petit Verdot, Trincadeira and Tannat. Stepped on foot in a stone mill, with all its stems and only with indigenous yeasts.
GRAPE VARIETIES: Alicante Bouschet, Trincadeira and Touriga Franca. The Alicante Bouschet, Trincadeira and Touriga Franca varieties are conducted in ascending monoplane. The orientation of the lines is East-West and the grape varieties have the same exposure (west).
TASTING NOTES: Dense and stratified, with expressive balsamic notes, and red and black fruits. Discreet minerality marked by graphite notes. In the mouth it is polished and velvety, with expressive fruity aromas, firm and lively tannin, and an initially discreet acidity, but which ends very expressive. Very persistent and pure. A guard wine.
