The oldest vineyard at Herdade do Rocim has always been affectionately called “Olho de Mocho”, as it is abundant in this spontaneous flower, scientific name Tolpis barbata. Because it was special, it could only give rise to a unique and authentic wine that we now call “Olho de Mocho Single Vineyard”.
GRAPE VARIETIES: Antão Vaz. The Antão Vaz variety is conducted in ascending monoplane, in a plot with slight east exposure and with the orientation of the lines in the East-West direction.
TASTING NOTES: Citrine color, aromas of marked minerality with flint nuances. Filled mouth, with excellent acidity providing intense freshness; relevant greasiness and final structure with longevity.
